Suspected Touts Raid and Steal Mace From House of Assembly, Ogun State

On Thursday December 10 there was an invasion in the Senate house of Assemble, Ogun state. The house of Assembly was invaded and raised by young men suspected to be touts.

During the chaos, the mace was stolen by one of the culprits.

Ogun Police spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi said the incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday.

He further disclosed that while the coat of the arm on the mace has been found under a flyover but the stick is still missing. Oyeyemi also stated that an investigation has been launched to unravel those who are behind the incident and the motive behind their action.
