Neymar Set To Return To World Cup As Brazil Eyes Quarter Finals

Neymar is set to return to World Cup as Brazil plays South Korea in the last 16 of the tournament on Monday.

The superstar forward has been absent since sustaining an ankle injury in Brazil’s opening match in Qatar and their supporters have been sweating on his fitness ever since.

Coach Tite made it known  30-year-old would be assessed in Brazil’s final pre-game training session on Sunday but gave a heavy hint that the Paris Saint-Germain attacker would start.

“He’s going to train this afternoon and if he’s OK, he will play tomorrow,” Tite disclosed this in an interview.

Pre-tournament favourites Brazil got their World Cup off to a flying start with a 2-0 win against Serbia and then sealed their place in the knockout phase with a 1-0 victory over Switzerland.
