PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe Out For The Rest Of The Season After Sustaining Injury

PSG defender, Presnel Kimpembe has been ruled out for the rest of the season after sustaining an injury.

The 27-year-old center-back, who has represented the Parisian giants for his entire career, has seen his 2022-23 season blighted by injury, which forced him to withdraw from France’s World Cup squad.

While he recovered to start playing again in 2023, Kimpembe was stretchered off the field 16 minutes into PSG’s 3-0 win against Marseille on Sunday. He was replaced by Danilo Pereira.

Now PSG has confirmed that he requires surgery on the issue, and will play no further part in their Ligue 1 or Champions League campaigns.
