Signs Your Period Is Around The Corner
Female bodies react whenever it’s time to have their monthly flow. Even though most of us hardly pay attention to our body languages. Here are some signs that your period is around the corner:
Abdominal cramps: Cramps in your lower belly are the most frequent menstrual complaint. They usually show up right before your period and last for 2-3 days.
Breast tenderness: Your breasts may feel tender or swollen due to hormonal changes.
Mood swings: Hormonal changes can also cause mood swings, irritability, anxiety, and fatigue.
Acne and breakouts: Changing hormones can cause acne and breakouts.
Bloating: You may feel bloated due to water retention.
Changes in appetite: You may experience food cravings or changes in appetite.
Vaginal discharge: Cervical mucus is a type of vaginal discharge that changes in amount and consistency throughout the menstrual cycle. When you’re most fertile, cervical mucus is sometimes visible in your underwear or when you wipe after using the toilet. Since you’re not fertile in the days directly before you get your period, there should be very little or no discharge to see.
Fatigue: You may feel more tired than usual.
Not everyone experiences the same symptoms, and they can even change from month to month. Paying attention to any unique patterns your body follows month to month can be a great way to catch the onset of each cycle. If you have PMS symptoms that interfere with your ability to work, go to school, or enjoy your day, talk to your Doctor.
