UK Prime Minister Congratulates Tinubu On Victory

The United Kingdom Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, has congratulated Nigeria’s President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on his victory at the 2023 presidential election.

Sunak sent his congratulations in a tweet on Wednesday night.

He stated that he looks forward to working with Tinubu and establish a stronger bilateral relationship.

The UK prime minister, in the tweet said,  “The UK-Nigeria relationship remains strong.

“Congratulations to @officialABAT on his victory in Nigeria,” Sunak said.

“I look forward to working together to grow our security and trade ties, opening up opportunities for businesses and creating prosperity in both our countries”.
