Dr. Adaora Umeoji is a foremost banker with 30 years experience in the banking industry. 26 years of her career in banking was with Zenith Bank.
Adaora Umeoji is the first female to be appointed General Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Zenith Bank, since the inception of the bank.
Adaora has served as the Deputy Managing Director of Zenith Bank since October 28, 2016 till date.
Umeoji is an alumnus of Harvard Business School and Columbia Business School where she bagged certificates in Advanced Management Programme and Global Banking Programme respectively.
She holds two bachelor’s degree; one in Sociology from the University of Jos, and the other in accounting. She also holds a first-class honours degree in Law from Baze University, Abuja.
She holds a Master of Laws from the University of Salford, United Kingdom, a Master in Business Administration from the University of Calabar, and also has a doctorate in business administration from Apollos University, USA.
Adaora is a Nigerian and an indigene of Anambra State.
