Nigerian Rapper Chinko Ekun Meets Senator Orji Uzor Kalu

 

Nigerian Rapper, Chinko Ekun on Saturday evening met with the former Governor of Abia State and current Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

“Chinko Ekun” whose real names are “Oladapo Olamide Emmanuel” arrived the “Aso-Villa” Abuja residence of the Senate Chief Whip at about 3:15pm in company of his friends, IgbereTV reports.

The visibly thrilled prolific Rapper was ushered into the building and made his way straight the expansive visitor’s lounge to greet Senator Kalu who was already hosting other dignitaries.

Chinko Ekun who bagged “The Headies Award for Best Street-Hop Artiste for the Hit song “Able God” exchanged pleasantries with Senate Chief Whip and was immediately invited to join the banquet.

The highpoint of the visit was when Chinko performed his award-winning song “Able God” to the admiration of Senator Kalu and his guests. The performance reached a crescendo when Chinko Ekun switched to a freestyle session using a background instrumental in which the law graduate of OAU-ILE-IFE turned musician displayed his Rap prowess. However, Senator Kalu got everyone astonished when he stood up signaled Chinko to pause, and joined the rap session.

The Chief Whip also engaged the youths, in brief, discuss sessions on pertinent national issues and the legislative support for the creative industry.
