RnB singer, Ann Marie has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man in the head in Atlanta.

According to Fulton County records, the 25 years old Chicago-based singer was booked into jail on the 2nd of December, and charged with a possession of firearm during commission of a felony and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

It was reported on Monday night that the shooting took place at a hotel in Buckhead on the 1st of December.

According to a police report obtained by the outlet, responding officers found a 24-year old man with a gunshot wound to the head; he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
The report said that the man was responsive when officers arrived but was later declared to be in a critical condition.

Ann Marie claimed that a gun had dropped off a table in the room, “going off and hitting the man”, Police said.
She was reportedly very distraught and kept asking the police officers if the man was going to be okay.

It was also registered that the “Secret” singer was screaming hysterically after the shooting and had to be removed from the scene by officers, whom she told that she and the victim had grown up together and were visiting from Chicago.

Ann Marie is best known for her 2018 song “Secret” which spent four weeks on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart in 2019, peaking at No. 22. She has released albums such as; “Ann Marie, Tripolar, Tripolar 2 and Pretty Psycho”, and an EP, “Misunderstood”.
