US President, Joe Biden Appoints Nigerian-Born Enoh Ebong As Director Of Trade

US President Joe Biden has officially appointed Nigerian-born Enoh Titilayo Ebong for the post of Director, United States Trade and Development Agency.

This was issued in a brief which has names of nominees for various posts in the president’s cabinet forwarded to the US Congress.

Ebong had served in several positions in the USTDA between 2004 and 2019. At a time, she also served as the agency’s General Counsel, and Deputy Director.

Before she began working with the USTDA, Ebong was a lawyer in Boston, who represented both public and private companies.

According to the brief, US President, Joe Biden appointed Ebong to serve as the Chief Operating Officer of the USTDA and she has been the Acting Director of the agency right from that moment.

Ebong got her JD from the University of Michigan Law School, including a Master of Arts in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Arts in History, with honours, from The University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
