Hoodlums Invade School In Ogun, Two Teachers Hospitalized, Others Flee
Some Students of Community High School, Ijoun, in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, on Monday, has been said to hire suspected thugs to attack and chase their teachers out of the school.
This took place roughly one week after some students of Unity High School, Kajola, Ibooro, also in Yewa, allegedly hired hoodlums to beat up their teachers.
An anonymous source stated that the hoodlums invaded the school environment with several weapons and attacked the teachers, injuring several of them.
According to the source, the attackers stormed the school at about 10.45am on Monday and used deadly weapons such as machetes and axes on Stephen Oyelekan and Kayode Olatunji, before they escaped.
The issue have been reported at the Eegua Police Station, and the victims, taken to the hospital for treatment.
At the same time, the principals of Junior and Senior Secondary Schools, Mr. Sowunmi and Kayode Amusa respectively, have informed the Adele of Ijoun Community, Chief Olaleye Emmanuel, and the head of the Amotekun in the community.
