Pastor Odukoya Loses Wife, Nomthi Odukoya To Cancer
The Senior pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, Taiwo Odukoya has lost his wife Nomthi Odukoya to cancer.
A statement posted on the Pastor’s Instagram page revealed that Nomthi died on Tuesday morning.
The statement read, “With deep regret and gratitude to God, we have to announce the passing of our Senior Pastor’s wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
“She battled cancer for the better part of 2 years, she stood on the Word of God, and she fought.
“We loved her with all our heart, but who are we to fight with the will of God. The truth is, at one point in our lives, we all will have to say goodbye. So for now, till we meet again in glory, Goodbye Pastor Nomthi”.
Nomthi, who died at the age of 47 is survived by her husband and children. She was an educationist, a life coach and a writer.
She was married to Taiwo for 11 years after the death of his first wife, Bimbo.
Bimbo, who was initially the Co-Pastor of the church, lost her life in a plane crash in 2005.
