Nollywood Actor, Karibi Fubara Is Dead
Popular Nollywood actor, Karibi Fubara is is dead.
His sister confirmed his death via her Twitter page on Wednesday, December 12, 2021.
Her tweet read: “My brother, Karibi Fubara, has joined the ancestral realm. I’m devastated, but not hopeless.
“He lived fully and with joy. Left a great body of work. Will be a powerful ancestor. I love you.”
The actor had been diagnosed with cancer in 2020.
Karibi, who married popular Nollywood fashion entrepreneur, Yolanda Okereke in 2019, won many hearts in films such as the recent Smart Money Woman and God Calling.
Fubara rose to prominence after starring in Bodunrin ‘BB’ Sasore’s 2015 romantic drama series, ‘Before 30.’
He played Akin, a 35-year-old single sociologist and kindhearted humanitarian, who has a bad track record relationship-wise. The role earned him a loyal fanbase.
