Tanguy Ndombele Rejoins Lyon On Loan From Spurs
French international midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has joined Lyon from Tottenham hotspurs.
Lyon sold Ndombele to Spurs for fee of 60 million Euros (£50 million)and reports suggest the Londoners would seek a similar amount for an eventual transfer.
“Olympique Lyonnais announces the arrival of the French international midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, until June 30, 2022, in the form of a loan with a fee of 1.42 million euros, accompanied by a purchase option,” the French club disclosed this on Monday.
Ndombele rejoins Lyon after scoring four goals and setting up 16 more in 96 appearances before his move to Spurs in the summer of 2019, but he has largely failed to live up to his £54m price tag in North London.
The former Amiens man failed to make the squad for recent Premier League clashes with Leicester City and Chelsea, with his last top-flight appearance for Spurs coming in the Boxing Day win over Crystal Palace.
