Buhari Appoints Mohammed Abdullahi As Minister Of Environment
President Muhammadu Buhari has redeployed Mohammed Abdullahi as the new Minister of Environment.
Before his recent appointment, Abdullahi was the Minister of State for Science, Technology and Innovation.
The redeployment was disclosed in a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
“The President hopes that he would bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment for the growth of the country,” a statement signed by Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, said.
Abdullahi replaces Dr. Muhammad Abubakar, who was redeployed as Minister of Agriculture in September.
The Minister of State for Environment, Sharon Ikeazor, had acted as substantive minister until Abdullahi’s redeployment.
