Liverpool Forward, Mohammed Salah Wins The PFA Premier League Fans’ Player Of The Year

Liverpool star and Egypt international, Mohamed Salah has been awarded this year’s PFA Premier League Fans’ Player of the Year award after a stellar season with the Reds.

 Salah marked his 2021/22 campaign with a third Premier League Golden Boot, having tied with Tottenham’s Heung-Min Son on 23 goals before collecting this prestigious fan-voted award.

The No.11 also picked up the league’s Playmaker prize for his 13 assists in the season – one more than teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was also shortlisted for the PFA prize.  

Salah came out on top in a fan poll to claim the accolade for the third time in his career, with Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Conor Gallagher and Declan Rice the other nominees.
