Breaking: Building Collapses In Lagos, Many Feared Dead

A lot of people were early in the hours of Wednesday feared dead after a building in the Onipanu area of Lagos State reportedly collapsed.

The affected building is said to be at Oke Arin street, off Shyllon Ilupeju.

This is barely two weeks after a church building under construction collapsed opposite Number 17, Cardoso Street, off Martins Street in Mushin.

The incident occurred at about 1.07 am on Wednesday.

The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr Oluwafemi Oke-Osanyintolu confirmed the development.

He said, “The Alpha Cobra team of Lagos State Emergency at Onipanu enroute Oke Arin street off shyllon Ilupeju”.
