Gunshots As Hoodlums Attack Traders In Oshogbo.

Suspected hoodlums on Friday morning laid siege on Sabo area of Oshogbo and injured some traders and others in the vicinity.

Although some policemen had been deployed to the environment where the incident happened, regardless however, gunshots fired by the hoodlums were still heard a few metres away from where the policemen were positioned.

A resident, identified as Amusa, reported that the attack started late Thursday.

He said the hoodlums had claimed to be mourning a colleague with a candlelight procession before they launched attacks on traders all of a sudden.

Amusa further stated that a yet-to-be-identified trader was killed in the process of the gun-battle, adding that the hoodlums also, on Friday, went ahead with their onslaught and attacked a lot of people in the area.
