Two Die In Collapsed Abuja Building

A total of two persons have lost their lives in the Abuja shopping complex collapse, their bodies were recovered on Friday evening.

Two of them were trapped. Three others were also rescued from the rubble.

The building, which was under construction, collapsed at Hamza Abdullahi Street Off Gado Nasco Road.

Rescue workers disclosed that the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday. Those injured were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Two ambulance vans seen living the site were said to be conveying the remains of the two dead bodies – a young boy and one ‘baba’ who kept watch over the building – to the morgue.
