The deputy managing director and co-founder of Vetiva Capital Management, Olaolu Mudasiru, has reportedly died after being hit by a yet-to-be-identified driver.

Mudasiru was killed on Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident while cycling with two other persons on the Bourdilion road in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State.

The Vetiva co-founder was also the first son of Gbolahan Mudasiru, a former military governor of Lagos state, who died in 2003.

The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin has confirmed the incident.

Hundeyin, however, added that nobody has been arrested in connection to the accident.

Before his demise, Mudasiru was an investment banker with extensive experience covering stockbroking, asset management and other aspects of investment banking activities.
