Newcastle Thrash Leicester City 3-0, Moves To Second In Premier League

Goals from Chris Wood, Miguel Almiron secured a win for Newcastle United as they thrash Leicester 3-0 at the king power stadium on Monday.

Newcastle have now become the team with the longest winning streak this season in the Premier League with six straight wins.

Newcastle now have 33 points and are above champions Manchester City who have 32 points, although they are yet to play their opening match since the resumption of the EPL, after the World Cup break.

Leicester remain in 13th place on the league table with 17 points.
