Kano State Governor Appoints 12 New Permanent Secretaries

Governor of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje has approved the appointment of 12 new permanent Secretaries as part of the efforts to engender efficient public service delivery in the digital era and in compliance with global best practices.

This was contained in a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Abba Anwar, on Wednesday.

Those appointed are Mansur Yakubu, who until his new appointment was a Director from the Ministry of Works, Salisu Dan Azumi, was a Director from the Ministry for Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs and Dr Sa’adatu Sa’idu Bala, was a Director from the Ministry of Health.

Others are Ahmad Tijjani Abdullahi, who was before his new appointment the Executive Secretary, Science and Technical Schools Board, Baba Sharu Dala, was a Director from Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission and Aliyu Yakubu, Garo, was a Director from Ministry of Tourism.
