Terrorists Attack School In Uganda, Leaving 25 Dead

At least 25 people have died in a “terrorist attack” on a school in western Uganda, the country’s police spokesman stated on Saturday.

“So far 25 bodies have been recovered from the school and transferred to Bwera Hospital”, Fred Enanga added, referring to a town near the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Police did not disclose how many of the dead were school children.

Soldiers were pursuing the attackers who fled towards Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo, police added.
