I admit that I was being too expressive - BBNaija Phyna clarifies her stance on $bortion

Reality tv star, Josephine Otabor popularly known as Phyna has retracted her stance on abortion. She admitted to being too expressive about the topic.

Phyna during a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, stated that every lady have committed abortion once or twice.

She also took to her Instagram page and noted that ladies who drink warm water or take after pill have committed abortion. Phyna thus generalized abortion.

Phyna’ opinion didn’t seat well with many including her colleagues; she has faced a lot of criticism in the last few days. The height of it was when Princess a Big Brother Naija ex-housemate slammed her for trying to shove her opinion on abortion down people’s throat.

In reaction to the backlashes Phyna has released a public statement retracting her words. She revealed that she doesn’t support abortion and doesn’t want to be associated with such.

She added that she is currently partnering with an nongovernmental organization to sensitize and educate people about abortion.
