Chelsea Recall Midfielder, Andrey Santos From Nottingham Forest Loan
Premier League side, Chelsea has recalled midfielder, Andret Santos from his loan at Nottingham Forest.
The Brazil international joined Chelsea from Brazilian side Vasco da Gama last January for around £18million ($22.8m), before then rejoining them on loan in March.
He was subsequently loaned to Forest in the summer window but after just two appearances has returned to Stamford Bridge.
Strasbourg, owned by the same group as Chelsea, hold an interest in taking Santos for the second half of the season but the blues would need to end one of their current seven international loans in order to send the 19-year-old abroad.
If Chelsea were to send Santos out again, they are, as it stands, restricted to domestic destinations as they already have the maximum of seven players out on international loans — Gabriel Slonina at Eupen, David Fofana at Union Berlin, Angelo Gabriel at Strasbourg, Diego Moreira at Lyon, Hakim Ziyech at Galatasaray, Kepa Arizabalaga at Real Madrid and Romelu Lukaku at Roma.
One of those loans could be ended to facilitate a temporary move abroad for Santos.
Chelsea return to action against Preston North end in the FA Cup on Saturday.
