Prominent Ondo Monarch Dies Aged 102

The Owa of Idanre kingdom in Ondo State, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV, has died at the age of 102.

The Lisa of the traditional Prime Minister) of Idanre kingdom, High Chief Christopher Oluwole Akindolire, confirmed the monarch’s demise on Wednesday morning.

Chief Akindolire noted that preparations for the necessary traditional rites are already underway at the king’s palace.

The traditional ruler ascended the throne in 1976.
