Borno Commissioner Of Finance, Ahmad Ali Is Dead

The Borno State Government commissioner of finance, Ahmad Ali Ahmad has passed, the Borno State Government made this known on Monday.

In a statement released by the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar, it was confirmed that Ahmad lost his life on Monday morning.

According to the statement, “His burial is scheduled for 5 pm on Monday, August 26, 2024, at his family residence on Damboa Road, behind the Indimi residence in Maiduguri.”

Sworn in on August 10, 2024, Ahmad was before then the State Zonal Manager of Zenith Bank in Maiduguri.

Governor Babagana Zulum has since his second term inauguration in May 2023 lost two commissioners and a special adviser.
