Olatunji Disu Assumes Office As 32nd CP Of FCT Police Command

Olatunji Disu, the newly appointed Commissioner of police for the Federal Capital Territory(FCT), has warned people who seek to disrupt the peace of the nation’s capital, to have a rethink as his tenure will be marked by zero tolerance for crime.

In a news conference in Abuja on his assumption of office, Disu made it known that he is aware of the security challenges facing the FCT, and the foundational work laid by his predecessors to maintain relative peace promised, build upon this groundwork, and significantly improve the security situation in the federal capital territory.

Disu added that the police under his administration will employ community policing and strategic intelligence gathering, to foster trust and collaborate on innovative strategies to address the security concerns that affect all residents.
