Actress Iyabo Oko Is Dead

Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odukanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko has lost her life.

She passed away Wednesday morning.

Actress Foluke Daramola-Salako confirmed her death.

The 61-year-old actress before her death, battled with ill-health which made her to take a long break from the movie scene.

One of her daughters, Olamide, announced that her mother was diagnosed with ischaemic stroke about five years ago.

Yoruba Nollywood stars including Foluke Daramola, Iyabo Ojo, Bolaji Amusan, Mercy Aigbe and Biodun Okeowo, others assisted her financially.

Odukanwi was born on November 15, 1960 in Iwo Local Government Area of Osun State.

Apart from Iyabo Oko, she was also frequently referred to Apoti Aje and Sisi Mama.
