In celebration of its 10th Year Anniversary, ArcView Investments Limited has promised to do more for Nigerians in the delivery of affordable housing.
Speaking at a recent media parley, Mr. Segun Oshundairo the Chief Executive Officer of the Company explained that over the last decade, the company has done a lot in the provision of houses for low and middle income earning Nigerians, but there is still so much the to be done to effectively reduce the housing deficit in the country.
“Although in the last two years, we have delivered over 500 housing units to Nigerians in our different estates under the Arc-View Home Ownership Scheme, we are still extremely committed to doing more for them.
“Currently, we are proud of ourselves as the biggest provider of homes to low and middle income earning Nigerians, but there is still a lot to be done to achieve our ultimate desire of effectively reducing the housing deficit”, Mr. Oshundairo explained.
He added that in the next two years, the company will be delivering over 2,000 housing units as the company is now well-positioned to do that. “We have increased capacity to point where we can deliver houses with ease. Although the volatile economic situation is a posing a great challenge, we have a strong resolve to surmount them”.
Also speaking at the parley, Managing Director, Arcview Investments, Mr. Idowu Okegbenro says housing delivery to low-income earners is a big challenge for private real estate developers in Nigeria. “If not well planned and thought out, it is near impossible to build houses for low and middle-income earners in Nigeria. The economic climate and some government policies are not at all. However, as a company, we have our trade secrets and strategy that has made us do low-income houses of over 500units in the last two years. We will continue to do more God willing”, he affirmed.
The company also used the opportunity of the Media Parley to unveil what it calls its newest estate. “We have just launched what will eventually become the biggest privately developed estate in Nigeria. It is called Treasure Hilltop Estate. It is located in Alagbado. It is a very suitable location for upwardly mobile working-class Nigerians looking for good real estate investment within Lagos. In the next six months, we will start building houses also in that estate. Currently, a plot of land is selling for N6.5million in the estate. It is a beautiful offer, Mr. Oshundairo says.
