Brentford Thrash Manchester United 4-0

Manchester United suffered a second defeat as Brentford thrash them 4-0.

Ten Hag was looking for a response to last weekend’s 2-1 home loss to Brighton and Hove Albion and was able to hand Cristiano Ronaldo a start, but all United got was a humiliation.

Josh Da Silva scored the opening goal, Matthias Jensen added another minute later.

Ben Mee then exposed the visitors’ frailty from set-pieces for his first Brentford goal and Bryan Mbuemo rounded off a stunning counter-attack 10 minutes before half-time to sink Manchester United to the bottom of the premier league table for the first time in 30 years.
