Buhari Arrives Daura For Election

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, where he will cast his vote on Saturday, February 25, 2023, the Presidential Election day.

A statement signed on Thursday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, revealed that the helicopter conveying Buhari from the Katsina Airport touched down in Daura at 05:25pm, after which he was conveyed home by a retinue of DSS officials.

The statement was titled ‘President Buhari arrives Katsina for presidential elections.’

Buhari who has been on the ballot in five consecutive election cycles will, for the first time in two decades (2003- 2023), join the electorate to vote for another candidate asides from himself.
