Carabao Cup Draw: Manchester City To Play Against Tottenham, Liverpool Travels To Brighton

The draw for the 2024/25 Carabao Cup fourth round has delivered some thrilling fixtures, including a highly anticipated showdown between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City. Defending champions Liverpool will face a challenging away game at Brighton.

Manchester United will host Leicester City at Old Trafford, while Crystal Palace will head to Aston Villa in two other all-Premier League encounters.

Championship teams Sheffield Wednesday, Stoke City, and Preston North End are still in the tournament, with either AFC Wimbledon or Newcastle United scheduled to meet Chelsea after their postponed third-round match, now set for October 1.

Fourth-round games are scheduled to be played during the week beginning October 29.

In the Carabao Cup, also known as the EFL Cup, the tournament follows a knockout format. After the fourth round, typically featuring the last 16 teams, the competition moves into the quarter-finals.

At this stage, the remaining eight teams will compete in single-elimination matches, with winners advancing to the semi-finals.
