Josko Gvardiol’s header secured a draw for RB Leipzig against Manchester City in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 tie.

Riyad Mahrez opened the scoring in the 27th minute, capitalizing on a Leipzig turnover deep in their own territory. City dominated the first half but were unable to add to their advantage.

Pep Guardiola’s men would rue their wastefulness as Josko Gvardiol bagged an equalizer for the hosts in the 70th minute, rising highest to head the ball home as Ederson was caught in no man’s land.

Things are all level as this matchup heads to England for the second leg on March 14.
