Cristian Romero Completes Permanent Move To Tottenham

Tottenham have announced the signing of Cristiano Romero permanently. The Argentine made the move to N17 last summer from Atalanta, but he has now penned a five year contract with the premier league club.

Romero has become a pivotal part of Antonio Conte’s side and has already made 32 appearances for Spurs. The defender adds aggression and strength to the back line and has slotted in easily on the right of the back three.

Romero made the move to Spurs from Serie A, where he had previously been awarded ‘Best Defender‘ and has experience of winning both the Italian league and Copa America. The defender is still young and so has time to develop as he continues to work with Conte.
