Diego Simeone Signs New Atletico Madrid Contract
Atletico Madrid’s head coach, Diego Simeone has signed a new contract with the La Liga side until June 2027.
The Argentine was appointed to the role in December 2011 and has won 380 of his 642 matches in charge.
The club has also been Champions League runners-up under Simeone in 2014 and 2016.
Atletico are currently fourth in the Spanish top flight, and top of their Champions League group with two games remaining.
