Don't wear bra to sleep! Checkout reasons
Wearing bra to sleep might cause some discomfort. Here are five reasons why you shouldn’t wear a bra to sleep:
Restricts circulation: Wearing a tight bra with a tight elastic underwire can hinder the free circulation of blood.
Disrupts sleep: Wearing a tight bra when sleeping can cause discomfort, which in turn may affect the quality of sleep.
May cause skin irritation and chafing: Wearing a bra that’s too tight or digging into your skin could cause skin irritation and disrupted sleep.
May lead to fungal growth: Having a bra on while sleeping can create a conducive, warm, and moist setting for fungi to breed and multiply.
Blocks lymphatic system: Wearing a tight sports or underwire bra blocks the lymphatic system from draining and keeps toxins from filtering out of your system.
However, if you choose to wear a bra to bed, it’s recommended to choose a lightweight bra without underwire, or a camisole-style pajama top with a built-in bra. The bra you choose to sleep in shouldn’t be too tight or have parts that dig in, as an uncomfortable bra might make it hard to sleep or irritate your breasts.
