Eberechi Eze Sign New Crsytal Palace Contract
Eberechi Eze has signed a three-year contract extension with Premier League side, Crystal Palace.
The deal takes the 25-year-old midfielder through to 2027 and is a big boost to Palace after Eze had entered into the final two years of his contract.
He was the club’s top goalscorer last season, with 10 in the Premier League as well as four assists.
“I’m delighted for the club and pleased for Eberechi as well because he’s done so well in the three years he’s been with us and it’s great to know he’s pledged his future to the club,” manager Roy Hodgson said.
“That says a lot about his confidence in where the club is going and what we can achieve here because his ambition is to establish himself in the English national team and he obviously believes we can get him there.
“I would like to think it says a lot about the club and how the club is progressing.“
Treble winners Manchester City had shown an interest in signing Eze during the summer.
He made his debut for England in June as a substitute in a 4-0 Euro 2024 qualifying win against Malta and has made two international appearances so far.
