Fire Guts Katsina Commissioner’s Country Home

An early morning fire on Saturday razed down the apartment of Katsina State Commissioner of Information and Culture, Dr. Bala Zango, based in Zangon Daura.

Details surrounding the incident were still sketchy as of Saturday afternoon.

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Alhaji Musa Rabiu Mahuta however led the management staff in the ministry on a condolence visit to the town to sympathise with the commissioner.

An official who was part of the entourage said, “You know I am not supposed to speak on this incident, but the country home completely burnt down.”
