Five Dies In Abuja Road Accident

A total of five people lost their lives in an accident that happened at Mpape, a settlement close to the Maitama District of Abuja, on Thursday.

It was gathered that the accident occurred when a truck conveying sand had a brake failure.

Confirming the incident, the Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FCT Command, Chorrie Mutaa, made it known that the corps rescue team “recovered five dead bodies and 10 injured persons.”

Mutaa added that 13 vehicles, including the truck and a motorcycle, were involved in the accident.
