Four Dies, Three Sustain Injuries In Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Auto Crash
A total of four persons lost their lives on Monday while three others sustained varying degrees of injuries in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when a luxury bus rammed into a truck.
The Public Education Officer for Ogun State Sector of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident in Abeokuta.
Okpe stated that the truck did not stop after the bus rammed into it while negotiating a bend around the “Kara’’ axis on the expressway.
She added that 21 persons, 13 men and eight women, were involved in the accident.
She made it known that the corpses have been deposited at a morgue in the Sagamu area of the state, while the injured have been taken to a nearby hospital, she said.
