Fuel Tanker Catches Fire In Abuja

A tanker conveying Petrol, caught fire while delivering fuel to a Conoil station at the Area 10 of Abuja.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire began sometime around 3:35 pm on Saturday afternoon, while the tanker was trying to offload its contents, and some of the fuel spilt. 

While no lives have so far been reported lost, a couple of cars had been affected by the flames and got burnt.

As of the time of filing this report, traffic to the location has been blocked by officers of the Nigerian Police and the Federal Road Safety Corps, while men of the Federal and Army Fire Service are endeavoring to calm the raging flames.
