FUTA Students Protest Hike In Tuition Fee

Students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Ondo, on Monday, organized a protest against the decision of the school management to increase tuition fees.

According to the students, the school increased the fees by over 300 percent.

The protesters gathered in front of the school’s main gate, chanting several solidarity songs, preventing human and vehicular movement from entering the campus.

They insisted that management must return to the status quo ante.
