Gregory Kobel Sign New Borussia Dortmund Contract Until 2028

Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregory Kobel has signed a five-year contract extension with the Bundesliga side.

Kobel joined BVB from Stuttgart in 2021 after impressing in the Bundesliga and has been one of the best performers for Die Schwarz Gelben since joining them.

The Swiss international was a massive part of their title push last season, keeping a total of 11 clean sheets in 27 appearances as BVB finished second, missing out on the Bundesliga on the final day.

He has already kept two shut-outs for BVB in the league this season as they bid to fight for the title again, but it could have been so different.

Kobel continues to be a fine asset for the club, helping them to another clean sheet in the Champions League against AC Milan yesterday.

He will reportedly receive a massive salary increase that reflects his standing and importance in the team.
