Hollywood Star Nicholas Cage Gets Married For The Fifth Time
Hollywood star, Nicholas Cage, has tied the knot for the fifth time. After proposing to Riko Shibata over FaceTime, the actor married his fifth wife in Las Vegas last month.
The National Treasure weds Riko Shibata in Las Vegas on February 16, 2021. Confirming the news, Cage said, “It’s true, and we are very happy.”
Nicolas, 56, and Riko, 26, tied the knot in Sin City’s Wynn Hotel on a date chosen to honour his late father’s birthday. While the groom wore a Tom Ford tux, his bride wore a handmade Japanese bridal kimono.
A rep for the actor disclosed that”They exchanged traditional Catholic and Shinto vows with poetry from Walt Whitman and Haiku sprinkled in.”
The ceremony in the hotel’s private courtyard, called Primrose Court, was held against a backdrop of flowers, candles and fairy lights. While the Vegas wedding was intimate, close friends and family were in attendance, as Cage’s rep said, ‘After the wedding, the happy couple was joined for a small celebration attended by Nicolas’ ex-wife, Alice (who he remains very good friends with) and their son Kal.’
According to the Clark County Clerk’s office, the Cages applied for their marriage license a month earlier on January 10, and Ms Shibata has now taken the surname of her husband.
