I didn’t know she was going to pass on - Funke Akindele dedicates new movie to her late mother (Video)

Funke Akindele’ movie ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ is about to hit the cinema and she has revealed that her mother inspired her new movie. She thus dedicated the movie to her late mother.

Speaking at the premiere of her movie which held on December 10, she revealed that the story line is about her late mother, Dr Adebanjo Akindele.

She noted that the script of her new movie is all about her mother’s life and never knew her mother was going to die as at the time she wrote the script.

Funke dedicated the movie to her mother who died in February. She thus encourage people to watch the movie.

Her words,

“This story is so passionate. It is dedicated to my mum, who passed away in February. I didn’t know my mum was going to pass on but I wrote the story, but she is gone now, thank God. I want you all to enjoy the movie and pass it on”.
