Inter Milan Goalkeeper, Andre Onana Announces Retirement From International Football

Inter Milan’s goalkeeper, Andre Onana made it known that he is retiring from international football after being left out of Cameroon’s World Cup squad last month.

Onana, 26, was sent home from the tournament after a dispute with manager Rigober song, who reportedly took issue with his goalkeeping style.

The 26-year-old disclosed in an interview on Friday that his “story with the Cameroonian national team has come to an end“.

The Inter Milan player added: “Players come and go, names are fleeting, but Cameroon comes before any player or person.

“Cameroon remains eternal, as does my love for the national team and for our people, who have always supported us no matter how difficult the moment was.“
