Jadon Sancho Scores As Manchester United Beat Leicester 1-0
Jason Sancho secured a win for Manchester United as they beat Leicester 1-0.
Erik ten Hag’s side moved up to fifth, while Brendan Rodgers’s side remained at the bottom of the table.
Leicester responded after the first-half break as it appeared they needed to, after a flat first-half performance under Brendan Rodgers, and James Maddison went close.
Ronaldo, who would now be staying at United as the transfer window closes, had missed out on two chances but the result moved Ten Hag’s side up to fifth in the table.
Jadon Sancho, speaking to BT Sport, had said, “It was a great team goal and I am happy to get the three points for the team.
“I have gotten to know the players a lot more after missing pre-season last year and I am really happy to score.
“We hoped to start the season with two wins but that woke us up and I am happy to get the third win today.”
