Just In: Bandits Attacks School In Niger, Kills One, Abduct Others

Some students and staff of Science College, Kagara, in Niger State, were kidnapped when bandits attacked the school on 17th of February, Wednesday morning.

A student was also allegedly killed by the bandits during the attack.

A source within the area revealed that the attack started from the staff quarters and ended in the students hostels. It was reported that the bandits attacked the school at about 2am.

The gunmen gathered some staff and students at a place for hours before moving them out of the school premises to an unknown destination.

The number of persons abducted and those injured is not clear right about now. However, a headcount is being conducted at the school to ascertain the actual number of missing students.
