Kogi State Governor Announces Appointment Of 1,192 New Aides

Alhaji Usman Ododo, Governor of Kogi State, has approved the appointment of 1,192 additional aides, according to a statement from the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, issued on Monday.

The new appointments include Yakubu Abdulhakeem as the Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Office for Disability, along with 165 Senior Special Assistants and 36 Special Assistants. Additionally, the governor has appointed 574 Ward Special Assistants and 290 Local Government Special Assistants.

The statement also noted that Alhaji Ibrahim Abdulsadiq has been named Director of Protocol for the First Lady’s Office, among other new aides. Governor Ododo congratulated all appointees and encouraged them to serve diligently for the betterment of the state and its citizens. These appointments are effective from September 1, 2024.
