Media Personality Toke Makinwa chides Nigerians over Lilian Afegbai’s controversial birkin bag

Actress Lilian Afegbai recently posted a $22,000 birkin bag she bought for her birthday.

However, a lot of Nigerians criticized her for showing off, hence stating that spending a huge amount on such material thing is not an achievement.

Today, Toke Makinwa took to the internet to caution the public to stop telling people what to do with their money.

In her words, ”it is another way of putting people under unnecessary pressure, like how can you say why did she buy that bag when she still pays rent? There are many guys popping new cars and still paying rent and no one is telling them what they should or should not spend their money on.  People have different priorities, theirs is not wrong, yours is not right. We are all adulting together”.
